The Gemini Project was funded by the Commonwealth Government to
provide services to the homeless and low income residents of Central
Sydney.
Gemini staff worked closely with the staff of government and
non-government agencies to ensure that dually disordered people
received adequate and appropriate services and were not discriminated
against for housing, health care etc.
The Gemini Project report is available from Maree Teeson, National
Drug and Alcohol Research Center, Sydney.
Darlinghurst Community Health Centre (Forbes and Bourke Streets,
Darlinghurst, NSW 2010) continues to provide psychiatric assessment
for the Salvation Army Dual Diagnosis Programme
and to other agencies in the area.
