  • Coco Wellington ~ A novel site from a member of our Expert Panel combining Dual Diagnosis savvy with sports psychology!
  • Drug Net  The DrugNet pages on coexisting disorders (dual diagnosis) provide systemic and clinical information for drug & mental health workers as well as those who work in other social welfare fields.
  • Australian General Practitioners  initiate the PARC Co-morbidity project to explore issues regarding the approaches that GPs use when faced with patients experiencing comorbidity difficulties. The ultimate aim of this project was to improve the level of care provided for people with coexisting mental health and substance use problems by establishing positive changes in the management of comorbidity in the general practice setting
  • Mind Body Life a resource for mental health professionals and consumers of mental health services. The website contains useful information on optimising lifestyle for people living with a mental illness. It profiles services around Australia that are changing peoples lives, provides background information on some key areas of psychosocial intervention and provides materials that can be printed and distributed to workers and consumers in mental health.
  • Best Practice Guidelines from the USA ~ TIPS for Alcohol and Other Drug workers: comprehensive search facilities. Tends to get moved around, and has not been updated recently, but contains important background material.

    California Department of Mental Health ~  Awarded three million dollars over a three year period in Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): describes four demonstration projects, which are funded jointly with the counties.
