Message from the General ManagerBankstown Health Service is a unit of Sydney South West Area Health. It consists of a 454 bed hospital and a number of community health centres. We aim to provide quality services to our consumers and are keen to work with clients and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes. Bankstown Health Service offers great opportunities for professional development and advancement. We attempt to foster improvement and innovation. The Health service has teaching and research links to the University of New South Wales, University of Sydney, University of Western Sydney, offering supervised undergraduate placements and encouraging recruitment of motivated new graduates. An extensive medical library is available for all staff. All departments have Internet and World Wide Web access. We also seek to attract clinicians (nursing, allied health and medical) who share our vision and values and believe that they can participate in advancing our objectives.
