The Karitane Careline is a statewide 24 hour Telephone Information Service. Child and Family Health Nurses are available for consultation on a wide range of issues concerning infants and children from birth to five (5) years of age.
Some of the issues you may like to discuss include:
- Feeding problems - breast, bottle or solids
- Sleep and settling routines
- Immunisation information
- Weaning
- Toilet training
- Management of gastro-oesophageal reflux
- Developmental milestones
- Toddler behaviour management
- Information regarding common childhood illness/problems
- Any other queries carers may have regarding this age group
