Correctly fitted Semi-Rigid C Collar Sandbags either side of head Jordan Lifting Frame or Spinal Board Tape Patient to Frame / Board (Head, Shoulders and Pelvis) Take care not to comprimise the airway, especially with the chin tape. Always be aware of pressure area care from all four elements of the immobilisation. If the patient is awake and co-operative then do not tape them until you are ready for transfer. Lift on Jordan Frame hourly. Indwelling Urinary Catheter should be inserted for Bladder care.
