The South Western Sydney Regional Trauma Registry was established in September 1994 with a view to providing the following:
  • A mechanism for trauma and injury data collection and analysis
  • Regional demographics of trauma
  • Foster the development of benchmarks in trauma care in Australia
  • Provide data analysis to focus strategic planning in trauma care
