The South Western Sydney
Regional Trauma Registry was established in September 1994 with a view to providing the
following:
- A mechanism for trauma and injury data collection and
analysis
- Regional demographics of trauma
- Foster the development of benchmarks in trauma care in
Australia
- Provide data analysis to focus strategic planning in
trauma care
